1. First, draw a picture.  Then, ask someone in your family to critique it (don't forget to tell them to be KIND, HELPFUL, and SPECIFIC).  Last, draw the picture again using the suggestions you got from your family member. You can also do this with a story.

2. After you read a book, re-write the ending OR write what you think happened after the ending of the book.

3. Practice your second grade sight words.

4. Write your own story problems.  Then, solve them and show your thinking on a piece of paper. Try to solve it in a few different ways!

5. Play a math game you learned in class!
