Hello!  Welcome to 2nd grade!  My name is Jami Saville and I was born and raised in Hermosa Beach. I traveled to the University of Arizona to earn my BA degree in Elementary Education.  Following college, I returned to California and attended UCLA to get my Masters in Education.

 

I began my teaching career in South Los Angeles and remained there for three years.  Before coming to the High Tech High organization, I taught kindergarten and 2nd grade in the San Diego Unified School District.  In 2011, I was one of the founding teachers at High Tech Elementary, Chula Vista.  It was an amazing experience to open a school, collaborate with such positive teachers and build exceptional relationships with my students and their families.  It was so wonderful  to embark on this journey once again here in Point Loma.   I love being apart of the High Tech family and know you will love learning here and being apart of our wonderful community as well. 

 

When I am not at school, you can probably find me spending time with my little family.  My husband, Eric and I have two little boys, Evan and Levi.
